SEWAGE MACERATING PUMPS
Pumps of type FP are centrifugal monoblock pumps with open radial flow impellers. Capacity of FP pumps ranges from 1 to 100 m3/h and delivery heights from 55 to 2 m. They are horizontal pumps but can also be mounted vertically.
FP pumps are designed for delivery of waste sewage waters contaminated with solids up to 300 mm grain size and fibrous matter, but can easily be used for delivery of fresh and sea water.
Due to its monoblock construction, they are simple to install and maintain. Shaft sealing is done by standard type of mechanical seals.
Material of casing and impeller can be either cast iron, bronze or stainless steel, depending on medium and conditions, while shaft is always stainless steel. Impeller and caing should be of same materials to equalise wear during macerating action.
