Tvornica turbina d.o.o. (TTK) as a leading member of the consortium consisting also partners S.C.A.N. d.o.o. and Monter SM d.o.o., has signed a contract with the customer INA – Industrija nafte d.d. for the delivery of equipment, materials and the performance of works on the installation of a steam turbine as part of the cogeneration plant at CPS Molve on a “turnkey” basis.
Since one of the most important milestones in the project is the production and delivery of the steam turbine, the buyer’s delegation together with the plant designers from the company S.C.A.N. Projekt d.o.o. visited the factory on 04.10.2024. with the aim of inspecting the flow path of the turbine before the final turbine assembly. After closing the turbine’s casing, it is not expected to reopen until the first overhaul cycle.
This steam turbine is another in a series of specially designed and manufactured turbines according to the specific requirements of the customer. Namely, this turbine is designed for unusually low input steam parameters of 9.5 barg, at which it provides a maximum power of 2.5 MW. Otherwise, it is a condensing turbine with a single regulated extraction that is being installed in the new power plant at the CPS Molve facility.
The turbine is expected to be delivered by the end of October 2024.
